31 - Sömiöd (Spider) - Mending a Broken Universe
A retake on one of my early tarot trumps [link]
This one has no relationship with the classical tarot.
It represents the cosmic principle of "the Incomplete".
After the Cosmic Egg was broken, putting an end to the original Whole, the spider Sömiöd undertook to knit everything back together. It's the origin of the "ailla hiutonte" (all is connected) doctrine.
This morning, I had the idea to superimpose the figure of the Perfect Androgyne (a nod to the great Moebius).
This trump then became also the representation of my holy trinity: the Immortal Creator, his Dream Lover and the Trickster.
